Life paths cross

I helped start an Internet platform company. In most ways, what we are doing is on the front edge of Internet technology. We are applying our vision in an emerging market - social gaming. While living in Madison, this isn't even on an edge that most people I interact with in my personal life see. I'm not bragging about this point. In some ways, it's a reflection on the challenges we face in terms of bringing this idea to life.

But every once in a while, I see my professional life cross with my personal life. And while I was shopping at Target, there it was. An entire aisle titled "Social Gaming". Seeing this at a Target in Madison has me convinced that my kids will only know gaming as a social experience.
Playing tetris or solitaire by themselves will be a foreign concept.
